Waiting for an ANSWER from God....

Waiting for God to give you an answer is tough.  I am dealing with something that I am really needing God to let me know what to do and I feel like the more that I pray about it, the longer I am waiting.  Of course, I know that God will eventually answer, the waiting part is not fun.

My ordeal that I am dealing with is where I am suppose to be in May.  For 2 years now, my plan has been to move to Dallas and work for my families company, D.R. Horton.  I have literally been counting down the days to get to Dallas in May! I have already been condo and house shopping and I have been researching the ins and outs of the city! I have been contacting friends that I know are from Dallas and getting ready for a great life in the big D! BUT...here lately, some things in my life have changed. 

1. ALLLLL of my best friends are in Fayetteville! They are all in serious relationships and some even engaged and going to settle down in Fayetteville for a while.  I am a strong believer in being where my best friends are.  I have been with these girls for a really long time, and I could not imagine being 4 or 5 hours away from them.  I would love to be able to have dinner dates, wine nights, house parties, TAILGATE @ FOOTBALL TOGETHER, and even in the FUTURE raise our babies all together!

2. My family is just 2 hours away! I am already so far away from Momma & Daddy! Another 4 hours tacked on to that would not be fun! :( I need my family close! Also, my grandparents are getting older and I don't want to be very far from them either. 

3. My sister is still in Fayetteville for another 3 years.  I can't just leave her in Fayetteville!

4. From working at Riffraff and from being a babysitter in NWA, I have many families and friends that I just couldn't imagine being without.  I feel like I know some pretty cool people in NWA and I like that feeling! It would take me a really long time to get that way in Dallas.

5. Recently, I have added a new addition to my life, Ben! Ben is amazing and we are having the best time together and really getting to know each other! Who knows what the future holds....I will leave that one up to God! :)

Just a few of the reasons why I want to stay in Arkansas......

DALLLLLLLLAAAAASSSSSSSSSSS plus's----

1. Lots of $$$ for me! Being in a HUGE city in a corporate company is a plus! My dream of being very successful financially would come true! (Of course, that also comes with working my tail off!)

2. I have LOTS of family in Dallas!

3. I have LOTS of friends in Dallas! (Not best friends, but friends)

4. SHOPPPPPPPIIIIINNNNGGGG!!!!!

5. Dallas is just an AMAZING place to be!

6. I can get a condo in "Up-town!"

The thing that drives me crazy, is not knowing! I wish I could just close my eyes and wake up in June and know where I am and what I am doing! I am just all stressed out all the time over this inside but I have been praying like CRAZY that God will show me the way!

SEX & the CITY 2! TODDDAAAAAYYYYY!

I am so excited for today!!!!!!!! Sex and the City 2 is out on DVD! WOO HOO! I just love these girls! And the reason behind that is...My group of girls and I are just a replica of these girls! We all know who we are and why! :) We will keep that a little secret! But today is a very exciting day for me!

Two Favorite things about Fall! & the PARK!

I love this time of year! I know that I recently blogged about how beautiful this time of year is already, but I just can't get enough! I have really enjoyed the park the last couple of days.  All of the leaves on the trees are GORGEOUS! There is something that I have really been wanting to do here lately and it totally brings out the child in me.  Remember when you were a kid, and mom or dad would go outside and rake all of the leaves into big piles?? And then what would happen next? You and your sweet dog would run into the piles and jump in them.  It didn't matter how mad/upset your parents were, it was always a fun time.  I have been contemplating on buying a rake.  There are so many leaves outside my apartment.  I want to rake a big pile and then jump in them.  Crazy I know! I am still a kid at heart in so many ways! But there is nothing better in the fall than jumping into leaves! Anyone want to join me?

PARK---
The last couple of days, I have been to the park to run.  I could stay all day! This time of year is gorgeous at the park.  Mom and I have been getting into it because she doesn't like/approve of me going alone.  I know...there are weird people out there! But I carry my cell phone! And I make sure that it is fully charged when I go as well.  But I am getting addicted to God's beauty! Yesterday when I was there, I was having my alone time with God and it was like God was right there beside me the entire time.  Every time I would look up to witness the beauty in the trees, a bright light would always shine down.  I have always believed in small moments like that where God just takes your breath away with his presence. Oh God is good!

HEALTHY DESSERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I have always had an obsession with STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKES! As everyone knows, they are not healthy! I would pick a milkshake over cake, chocolate...ANYTHING! There is know a healthy version of a strawberry milkshake!

THE ANSWER IS......

The most AMAZING dessert in the entire world!!!!!!!!!!! They are sold at any grocery store! AND...they are only 60 calories a piece!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH! At Chickfila...a strawberry milkshake has 770 calories! OMG! So..what would you rather have? 60 calories or 770?? I think I will go with 60!

So idea...put 2 of these smoothie bars in a cup and let them melt...throw in a straw and there you go! A MILKSHAKE! :)

How can you not believe in God after seeing these pictures? This time of year is just breath taking for me.  What a wonderful creator we have in the Lord!

Busy Beeeeee!

So...it has been almost 2 weeks since I have blogged! Oh my! I told my best friend, Mallory, that I would blog everyday! And I am going to really try to make an effort starting NOW to blog everyday! I have soooooo much on my mind all the time and I need to start sharing it w/ my blogging friends!

I have been so busy with school & work, and a little someone in my life! :) I had an AMAZING weekend in DALLAS!!!! The Hogs game was just INCREDIBLE! & the best part about the game...I MADE A DEBUT APPEARANCE ON THE JUMBO TRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But of course...my mouth is WIDE open! I am such a DORK! Oh well! It's just my everyday life! I had such a great weekend in Dallas w/Ben! We started the weekend out Friday night @ SIX FLAGS in Dallas! It was soooo much fun! We went into a haunted "building" and let me tell ya...IT WAS SUPER SCARY! It was just a bunch of really scary people/things jumping out at us! And they were freaky! I took the lead of the group walking through the place and so when I would get scared, everyone would jump! I have never screamed so loud and so much ever! Then Saturday, Ben & I met up with my family and headed to the stadium to tailgate & then enjoy the game! After sitting in traffic for 2 HOURS, we went to dinner w/the fam then OUT TOWN DALLAS! :) It was such a blast! I had the BEST WEEKEND EVER!
